The Accessibility Centre offers JU students training and workshops to develop various types of competences useful in realising their full potential.

At the AC, we are currently providing group training/workshops on the following topics:

A workshop where participants will have the opportunity to look at their style of managing tasks in time and discover ways to improve efficiency. Together, we will explore solutions to better plan learning, set realistic goals, better motivate ourselves to perform and maintain a balance between performing one’s responsibilities and resting.

Until the end of 2023, the workshop is being implemented as part of the project ‘Responsible support and sustainable development’. More information and training registration

A workshop where participants will learn different techniques for effective note-taking and reading. Students will be able to learn tools to help them memorise exam material more effectively. They will try their hand at creating mind maps and find out which apps will help them improve their learning.

Until the end of 2023, the workshop is being implemented as part of the project ‘Responsible support and sustainable development’. More information and training registration

The workshop on stress management will familiarise the students with the mechanisms of the stress response and its course. They will learn about his or her own stress levels and different methods of coping with stressful situations.

A workshop in which participants will be invited to take a creative look at popular student problems such as exam preparation and essay writing. Using techniques that support creative thinking, we will look for interesting, inspiring ideas that will give everyday tasks a new meaning and offer participants fresh energy for learning and working.

A notetaking workshop using visual thinking for more effective learning. Meetings are conducted as one-to-one consultative sessions.
