Google Drive as a tool for recognising text from image files

Google Drive is free software. It can be used to recognise text from image files. The program also extracts text in Polish.

In order to use the indicated function of the application, you need to:

  •  Save the image to Google Drive by selecting New with the coloured plus sign next to it and then select the file

  • The cursor should be placed on the image, then select the right mouse button

  • The next step is to select Open with and then Google Docs
  • The image file will be opened with Google Docs
  • The editable text recognised from the image will appear below it
