Our Accessibility Centre can be contacted in several ways.

Contact us

You can do this in several ways:

  • by email: briefly describe your issue and send an email to cd@uj.edu.pl or the individual address of any education accessibility specialist
  • via Microsoft Teams: chat on Dorada (dorada@uj.edu.pl) or to the individual address of any education accessibility specialist
  • by phone: call (+48) 12 663 43 40
  • in person: come during office hours, i.e. Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Setting a date and time for an appointment

Your education accessibility specialist will arrange a date and form of a consultation session with you. Sometimes the waiting time is several working days. You can choose whether you prefer to come to the CD in person or meet remotely on the Ms Teams platform.

Consultative sessions

Any JU student can make an appointment for a consultative session at the CD if they feel that the health situation they are facing is affecting their studies.

An appointment can be made with the education accessibility specialist either onsite at the CD office or via MS Teams (during office hours). It is advisable to make an appointment in advance by email or telephone to avoid waiting and to have enough time for the consultation.

For more information on consultations, see -> For Students -> Student Consultations

Implementation of the solutions agreed during consultation sessions

Before accommodations or a leave of absence can take effect, you must wait until your submitted application has gone through the formal procedure. It will first be reviewed by your accessibility specialist, then it will go to the Dean of your faculty. The list of accommodations for which you receive approval will be sent to the person in charge of your academic year via email from the secretariat of your institute or dean’s office. Please note that the whole procedure can take up to 30 days.

We recommend that you contact your teacher delivering the course

Whenever you wish to make use of the accommodation in a particular course, contact your teacher in advance to make relevant arrangements. You will also receive an email with a list of accommodations to refer to. If you have any questions or concerns, both you and your teachers can directly contact the education accessibility specialist handling your case.
